Gaviscon Infant Powder for Oral Suspension is for regurgitation and gastric reflux in infants and young children.
Gaviscon Infant Powder mixes with and stabilises the stomach contents to prevent reflux and regurgitation. This Infant Powder is designed for little tummies and comes in convenient sachets for easy dosage control. The powder thickens stomach contents, making it harder for liquid to come up the food pipe, thus reducing the instances of a baby bringing up milk by nearly two thirds.
**Suitable For:** Infants 12 months or older. Do not use Gaviscon Infant with other feed thickening agents or infant milk preparations containing a thickening agent.
**Dosage Instructions:** Maximum daily dose for infants over 4.5 kg (10 lb) equates to an intake of 3.45 g of mannitol E421, which may have a laxative effect. Each sachet contains approximately 23.9 mg sodium. If the infant is on a low sodium diet, consult a healthcare professional.
Not suitable for infants under 1 year of age.
