Robitussin Cough & Chest Congestion controls coughs for up to 8 hours and helps clear chest congestion. It has a throat soothing formula.
Robitussin Cough & Chest Congestion provides symptomatic relief from congested chests and coughs. It contains the expectorant Guaifenesin, which increases the flow of natural secretions along the lower respiratory tract. This liquefying effect helps break up a cough and loosen congestion so you can cough it up and clear your chest. It also contains the cough suppressant Dextromethorphan, which quietens the cough for up to 8 hours on a single dose, allowing you to rest without interruptions.
Suitable for: Adults and children 6 years of age and over. For children aged 6-11 years, use only on the advice of a doctor, pharmacist, or nurse practitioner.
Instructions: Every 6 to 8 hours orally when necessary. Do not exceed 4 doses in a 24-hour period.
